Do the damn work!

So anyway...

This is a new learning for me (would you believe).

At this time of the year, I'm not getting much daylights hours when I'm working, because I tend to be in a massage bubble!

I got to thinking a few weeks ago about the fact that although I am lucky enough to be on my feet all day working, and not being static, I'm hardly getting my steps in.

So here is todays gem, 5k is 10, 000 steps!  Crikey! I always thought it required a bit more effort than that.  One hours walking a day is 5k, or, in the case of The Santa Dash I did this morning, it took about 30 minutes.

Totally achievable!

It is super important at this time of the year to really dial in on your self care, making sure you get the basics right.

  • Enough sleep

  • Enough food (can you believe a lack of food can lead to a lack of sleep? I found out the hard way this week)

  • Enough movement (What ever you can do, I’m such a fan of Davina McCall DVDs especially the Toned in 10 one, no jumping involved!)

Look after yourself.
